Problem gambling can disrupt your life, relationships, and emotional well-being. PDS is a certified problem gambling provider through the Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS). An estimated 56,000 Minnesota adults meet criteria for problem gambling and about 162,000 more are considered at risk (Minnesota Department of Human Services, Problem Gambling Program) — gambling addiction is a serious public health issue, and help is available.
